Job availability changes on a daily basis. Once our application process is complete, you will be considered based on your preferences and your skills and will be offered appropriate positions.
What is involved in the application process?
You will be asked to provide complete work history information as well as asked preference of shift, type of work and preference of location.
After the application is complete, Advance will contact you to come in and finish the registration process.
Once you have completed the process, you will go through basic safety training, skills and integrity testing. For office and professional positions, you may be asked to do some computer testing to determine skill levels. You will then be interviewed by a staffing professional.
Advance Staffing Solutions does reference checks with previous employers and other references provided by applicants. Once reference information is complete, you will be offered jobs based on all the factors of your interview process.
How often should I contact your office after an interview?
Call or email our office at least once a week so we are aware of your availability.
What if I am on an assignment and decide it is not for me?
We realize that not every job is a good fit for you; sometimes you do not know that until you have tried the position. If you are on an assignment and find it is not going to work for you, we will ask that you contact us immediately. You may be asked to stay at an assignment long enough for us to find a replacement, but we will attempt to remedy the situation as quickly as possible. As with any interaction, communication is the key. We expect open communication from our field employees and they can expect the same from the Advance Staffing Solutions office.
What do I pay for your services?
As an applicant, you will not pay for any of the services Advance Staffing Solutions provides.
How can I stay informed about open positions?
All of our positions will be posted on our website.
When I am on assignment with an Advance client, who is my employer?
Regardless of which Advance client you do work for, Advance is your legal employer and you should contact an Advance Coordinator with any work-related issues.
How long does an assignment last?
Assignments may range in length from short-term projects to an indefinite amount of time. Some opportunities are temporary-to-hire positions. Advance Staffing Solutions will inform you at the start of the assignment how long it will last.
What should I do if my job duties are different than those that were described to me?
Please notify an Advance Coordinator immediately.
What should I do if my assignment has ended?
Be sure to let Advance know when your work assignment has ended so you may be considered for a new assignment.
When should I submit my timecard?
Timecards must be in your Advance office by noon on Mondays. If your timecard arrives late, you will be paid the following week.
When can I expect to be paid?
Payday is Friday of the week you submit your properly filled-in timecard. Advance Staffing Solutions pays via direct deposit or Global Cash Card.
How do I access my pay stubs and W2 Tax Forms?

What should I do if I am injured while on assignment?
If an accident occurs and you are injured while on the job, notify your supervisor and Advance immediately! Advance will direct you to the preferred medical facility if medical treatment is needed. An accident report must be completed within 24 hours of the incident. Failure to comply may mean delayed or nonpayment of workers’ compensation benefits.
Am I eligible for benefits through Advance?
Health benefits are available to employees after working a minimum period (upon hire). These benefits are available for purchase by employees for themselves, employee and spouse or employee’s family through payroll deduction.
What is the Referral Bonus program?
Referral Bonuses are paid to any Advance employee (currently working) who refers an applicant when that applicant completes 80 hours of work. Make sure your friends and family mention your name when applying!
