We have dedicated substitute coordinators to help you through the application process, to answer your questions, and to ensure your substitute assignments are right for you. Our experienced education experts will also provide ongoing training and coaching to help you develop your skills.

Our Locations

We are currently hiring substitute teachers for these districts in southwest Missouri: Conway (Laclede County), Glenwood (West Plains), Lebanon, Neosho, and Willard, but we will be expanding to more districts! Benefits for Substitutes

Full-time substitute teachers are eligible for Penmac's health and retirement benefits. Health coverage is compliant with Affordable Care Act requirements. Retirement options include a 401(k) savings plan after one year of service.

Requirements

A Missouri Substitute Certificate is required. Requirements for the certificate include 60 hours of college credit completed, and a background check. All Penmac substitutes will be carefully screened and matched with the assignments that best fit their schedule and interest areas.

Aesop Online Substitute Management

Penmac Education Staffing uses Aesop online substitute management. This allows you to easily specify days you're available to work, set preferences for your assignments, and it improves communication with classroom teachers through our online portal.
